Peter H. Aalto Obituary
We bid farewell to Peter H. Aalto of Hubbardston, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 21, 2024 at the age of 71. Peter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tauno H. Aalto and Joan E. Aalto (Dora); and his siblings, Steven T. Aalto and Penny M. Aalto. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" A. Aalto (Lesneski) of Hubbardston; his daughters, Meredith A. Lord (David) of Hubbardston and Rebecca M. Tervo (Peter) of Hubbardston; his grandchildren, Evelyn Lord, Liam Tervo and Charlotte Tervo; his sisters, Kathleen Bogaard (Hugo) of Hubbardston, Karen Lesneski (David) of Gardner, Sandra Sisco (Thomas) of Hubbardston and Laurie Drouin (Thomas) of Winchendon; and his sister-in-law Louise Aalto of Gardner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc. (110 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (135 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440).
