He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Hale (Higgins); and his parents, Paul S. Hale and Elizabeth P. Hale. He is survived by: his daughter Virginia Jepson (Hale); his son-in-law Randall Jepson; his son Jeffrey Hale; his grandchildren, Audrey Jepson and Paul Jepson; his brothers, Frederick Hale and Robert; his sister-in-law Faye Hale; his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law Andrew Maloney; his sister June; and his siblings-in-law, Mark McDermott, Nancy Bolton, Marilyn and Alan Huston. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
