It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy B. Salminen (Hubbardston, Massachusetts), born in Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 7, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Douglas Murdock; her daughters, Wanda Schindo and Penny Salminen; and her siblings, Bob, Walter and Lenny.
She is survived by: her parent Christel Murdock (Charlton); her husband Sulo; her children, Randy, Sally Bacon (Ernie) of New York, Teddie Doane (Bill) of Hubbardston and Viki Blakely of Hubbardston; and her siblings, Eugene Murdock of Iowa, Art Murdock of West Boylston, Barbara Distefano of Pennsylvania and Margery Aukstikalnis of Arizona. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy's family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Research Institute, 114, 16th St. #2011, Charlestown, Mass. 02129.
