Danny Proffitt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 70, Danny Proffitt of Hubbardston, Massachusetts, born in Bluefield, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Proffitt and Ethel Proffitt; his stepfather Floyd McAfee; and his siblings, Jimmy Proffitt and Linda Osborne.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Proffitt; his daughters, Melissa Prentiss (Colton) and Rachel Duly (Mark); his brother Jerry Proffitt; his cousin Rodger Blevins; and his grandchildren, Harper, Clyde and Cassius Prentiss.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home (343 Central St, Winchendon, MA 01475). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
