He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin V. Westlund and Doris I. Westlund (McNiven); his wife Joanne Westlund (Friberg); his son Andrew C. Westlund; and his siblings, John "Jack" Westlund and Joanne George.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark B. Westlund (Darlene) of Hubbardston and John W. Westlund (Robin) of Centerville; his sister Charlotte Gabrielson; his grandchildren, John M. Westlund (Bianca) and Meghan C. Westlund; and his great grandchild Ivy C. Westlund. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rural Glen Cemetery South Street.
