She was predeceased by: her parents, Aquiles Chacon Castro and Eduviges Barquero Segura; her husband Carlos Calero; her son Andrew; her siblings, Maria Chacon Barquero, Jesus Chacon and Juan Chacon; and her siblings-in-law, Oscar Rodriguez Calderon and Maria.
She is survived by: her son James Calero; her granddaughter Eleanor Calero; her siblings, Amada Chacon Barquero, Carmen Chacon Barquero (Gerardo Arguedas), Belen Chacon Barquero (Alvaro Richmond), Alejandra Chacon Barquero (Elicineo Chavarria) and Bernardo Chacon; and her brother-in-law Fausto Calero. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
