With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Wright Merrifield of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, born in Framingham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Merrifield (Wright) and Stuart H. Merrifield; and his brothers-in-law, David Ring and Dennis Hansen. He is survived by: his siblings, Frank Merrifield (Dorothy) of Loganville, GA, Nancy Ring of Westborough and Lois Hansen of Danvers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton (57 Hayden Rowe St, Hopkinton, MA 01748). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
