Walter L. Deegan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter L. Deegan of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Deegan (Mahoney) and Walter L. Deegan; and his siblings, George Deegan of Virginia and Patricia Anne Wormstead of Malden. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Deegan (Schiavi) of Hopkinton; his daughter Deborah Deegan (Denise) of San Francisco, California; his siblings, Jane Ruggerio (Agostino) of Peabody and William Deegan (Irish) of Arizona; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Karrat (Michael) and Michael Schiavi (Sara). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
