Virginia A. Potenza Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia A. Potenza of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, born in Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on March 29, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Alibozak (Karpetska) and Mitchell Alibozak; and her brother Mitchell "Bill" Alibozak. She is survived by: her husband Armand Potenza; her sons, Christopher Potenza of Hopkinton and Matthew Potenza (Catherine) of Sterling, MA.; her niece Tammy Gallo; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Spencer and Mikaela; her nephew Mitchell L. Alibozak (Katherine); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Everett and Isla; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Jasmine, Madelyn and Vincent.
Tai Chi led her to exploring Reiki, skin tapping, and meditation all of which became important parts of her life and expanded her world view. And she loved her time learning to tap dance with Rebecca Tredeau at the Senior Center and continuing on Zoom during COVID.
