He was predeceased by: his wife Mary P. Sanwald (Slack); his parents, John Sanwald and Marguerite Sanwald (Vail); and his son William Sanwald. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Rice (Lewis), Nancy McComas (John) and Tracey Flynn (Brian) of Hopedale; his sister Margie Card of Shelter Island, NY; and his grandsons, Brandon and Tyler Flynn. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
