He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecelia MacDonald (Cournoyer) and Alexander MacDonald; his wife Helen G. MacDonald (McEwen); his son Paul F. MacDonald; and his brother David.
He is survived by: his children, Steven D. MacDonald (Susan) of Holliston and Janet Coutu of Webster; and his siblings, Marie Nichols of Holliston, Anne, Gerald, James MacDonald and Virginia Haskell. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
