She was predeceased by: her parent Francis Harvey. She is survived by: her husband Edwin B. Cox Jr.; her daughters, Ashley Cox of Hopkinton, MA and Sarah Cole (Michael Cole) of Cary, NC.; her mother Doris Harvey; her sister Susan Ann (Bob Messier); her niece Martha; and her sister Lynne (Steve Drinkwater).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
