He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Dunphy (Burke) and John B. Dunphy; his wife Christine Dunphy (Gallagher); and his siblings, Ann Chase, James Dunphy, Virginia St. Ives and Robert Dunphy.
He is survived by: his daughter Burke Dunphy of San Francisco, California; his siblings, Paul Dunphy (Terri) of Needham, Rosemary MacDonald (Kenneth) of Rockland, Gregory Dunphy of Milton and Eileen Meuse (Paul) of Weymouth; and his pet Gio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
