He was predeceased by: his parents, Suzanne Gillis (Giroux) and John Gillis; his wife Sara Gillis (Wood); his brother Francis Gillis; and his son-in-law John Paul MacNeil.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Gillis (Pam Goldman) of Hopedale, Alison MacNeil of Hopedale and Kevin Gillis of Framingham; his siblings, Roland Gillis, Mark Gillis, Mary "Mimi" Randall and Jacqueline Gillis of Hudson, MA; and his grandchildren, Carolina, Ryan and Addison.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton (57 Hayden Rowe St, Hopkinton, MA 01748). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
