He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Lane and Christopher Lane; and his sister Betty. He is survived by: his wife Ann Lane (Mead) of Hopkinton; his children, Richard A. Lane of Nottingham, NH, James C. Lane (Kathleen) of Southborough, Paula Lane of Townsend, MA, Carolyn Freedman (David) of Upton and David Lane (Mary) of Townsend; his brother James Lane of St. Clair Shores, MI; his grandchildren, Christine Rice, Patricia Dash, Robert Lane, Julie Aponte, Andrew and Sara Freedman; and his great grandchildren, Troy, Kyle, Fiona and Girish.
