He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence E. Maher (MacKenzie) and Laurence S. Maher; his son L. Timothy Maher; his granddaughter Frances Fahey; and his sisters, Anna Bagley and Marie Maher.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette P. Maher (Twitchell); his children, Patricia Moriarty (Daniel) of Deerfield, MA, Sheila Dworkin (Paul) of West Hartford, CT, Kathleen Maher (Bernard McDaid), Moira Larson (Ronald) of Northbridge, MA, Julie Stanas (Ronald) of Hopedale, MA and Ann Fahey (P. Michael) of Hopedale, MA.; his grandchildren, Bridget, Brendan, Molly, Eamon, Trevor, Erin, Lily, Dillon and McKenzie; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Hannah; and his nephews, William Bagley, Thomas Bagley and James Bagley.
