He was predeceased by: his siblings, William, Raymond, Edward, Gerald, Caroline Bolton, Betty Dunphe, Marion White, Jean Mossey, Shirley Latino, Eleanor Gregoire and Edna Putnam; and his parents, William Hanam and Martha Hanam (Penny).

He is survived by: his wife June Hanam (Perkins); his daughters, Pam Hanam of Worcester and Sue Krikorian (Kevin) of Auburn; his grandsons, Matthew and James; and his brother Russell Hanam (Irene) of Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
