He was predeceased by: his parents, Bolek Sowa and Veronica Sowa. He is survived by: his wife Rita L. Sowa (Daviau); his children, Christoper William Sowa and Kathleen Marie Henderson (Sowa); his grandsons, Vince and Brian Henderson; his son-in-law Stephen Henderson; and his sister Maryann Radon (Sowa).
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A procession will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (30 Bartlett St, Westfield, MA 01085). The military honors will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
