We bid farewell to William J. Colangelo of Holyoke, Massachusetts, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 23, 2024 at the age of 76. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilo Colangelo and Antoinette Colangelo (Magnanimo); and his wife Elizabeth Colangelo (Murphy). He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Cara Segal; his stepchildren, Christopher Sugrue (Alejandra) of Westhampton, MA and Erin Fitzgerald (Thomas) of Florence, MA; his sister Ann Marie Lengyel (Donald) of Beacon Falls, CT; his nephew William Lengyel (Kristen) of Cheshire, CT; his goddaughter Jessica DeGennaro of Prospect, CT; and his cousin Michael Mormile.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Cross Church (Holy Cross Ave, Holyoke, MA 01040).
