Robert D. Mashia Obituary
We bid farewell to Robert D. Mashia of Holyoke, Massachusetts, born in Barre, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2025 at the age of 85. Robert D. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold R. Mashia and Alma E. Mashia (Gilbert). He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Mashia (Rioux); his children, Daniel J. Mashia of Chicopee, Diane M. Mashia of Rochester, NY and Linda R. McNamee (Paul) of Burlington, MA; his grandchildren, Gwyneth and Evan McNamee; his sister Claire Oberman of Trinity, FL; and his sister-in-law Irene Choquette of Lebanon, CT. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels (506 Britton St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Anne Church (30 College St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
