With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard J. Makowski of Holyoke, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Makowski and Gladys Makowski (Gwozdz); and his brother Walter Cyran. He is survived by: his wife Anna C. Makowski (Wojciechowski); his children, Pattee Makowski (Vincent Scolpina) and Joseph Makowski (Nadine); his grandchildren, Michael, Brittany Makowski, Amber and Zachary Cushing; his great grandchild Juliana; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Cyran.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Providence Ministries for the Needy, 51 Hamilton St. Holyoke, MA 01040.
