Maurice J. Ferriter Obituary
In loving memory of Maurice J. Ferriter of Holyoke, Massachusetts, who departed this world on December 24, 2024 at the age of 94. Maurice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Hennigan Ferriter; his son Attorney Maurice J. Ferriter, Jr.; his parents, John Ferriter and Aldea Brouillet Ferriter; and his brothers, John, Robert and Thomas.
He is survived by: his son Joseph P. Ferriter MD; his daughters-in-law, Rosalie Mengel Ferriter Moore, Attorney Deborah Desmarais Ferriter and Jennifer Trauscht VanHorn MD; his grandchildren, Emmet P. Ferriter MD (Meagan Gormally Ferriter), Katherine Ferriter Hauschild (James "Fritz" Hauschild), Conor Maurice Ferriter (Ally Von Kannel RN), Sean J. Ferriter, Ryan Maurice Ferriter (Shea Merriam) and Kelton J. Ferriter; his great grandchildren, Keeley, Cora, Maury Ferriter, Hadley and Brynn Hauschild; and his daughter Debbie Roule Beaudry.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Jerome Church (169 Hampden St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
