She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred Lanctoe; her former husband Joe; and her friend Muffy Langone. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Simon Assad Jr.; her family Lebanese; her children, Bonnie Roy (Ronald) of Springfield, Holly Demers (Lawrence) of Dennis and Joseph M. Assad (Margaret) of Holyoke; her grandchildren, James Demers of Myrtle Beach, Joseph S. Assad (Jennifer) of Wilbraham, Brittany Roy (Michael) of Woburn and Mary-Leah Messenger (Brian) of Grafton; her great grandchildren, Abigail Assad, Phoebe LeBlanc, Simon Assad, Leo Messenger and Grace Messenger; her niece Donna Walker of Los Angeles; and her great-nieces, Gina LaChapelle and Tia Mazza.
