It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Boulais of Holyoke, Massachusetts, born in Churchville, Maryland, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Margaret departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Margaret. Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donald Mahan and Ruth Mahan (Williamson); her siblings, Nancy Mahan of Springfield and Donald Mahan (Loretta) of Bel Air, Maryland.; her husband John Paul Boulais; and her grandchildren, Mae (Julia) and Sigridâ.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A committal service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
