He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne P. Hortie (Paquette); and his siblings, Delia Lajeunesse (Patsy) and Robert Hortie. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Hortie (Justin Souders) of Malden, MA and Todd Hortie of Holyoke; and his grandsons, Andrew and Evan Souders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
