He was predeceased by: his son-in-law John Wells. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Ann Wells of Springfield, Kathryn Gosselin of Dracut, MA, David Gosselin of Springfield, Michelle "Mickie" Lempke (William) of Holyoke and Edward "Skip" Gosselin (Linda Goulet) of Springfield; his grandsons, Christopher Lempke and Kevin Lempke; and his great grandchildren, Trent Lempke and Shane McCoy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Name Church (323 Dickinson St, Springfield, MA 01108). The military honors was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Ma Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
