It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J. Moynihan of Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Moynihan and Dolores Moynihan (Orban); his wife Evelyn; his children, Jeffery Moynihan, Deborah Dostal-Pijar (Mark), Mark Moynihan and Brian Moynihan (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, John Dostal, Nathan Moynihan, Emma Moynihan and Chloe Moynihan. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A prayer will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Donald's name to Jericho: The Bureau of Exceptional Children and Adults, 537 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
