With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Damien Michael Smith of Holyoke, Massachusetts, born in Plainfield, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2024 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Damien's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Damien has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Smith; and his father Raymond J Smith. He is survived by: his son Damien A. Smith; his mother Joanne Poitras Smith; and his siblings, Raymond E Smith, David J Smith, Gerard A Smith, Khadija Poitras-Rhea and Taisha Poitras-White. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
