He was predeceased by: his grandfather Juan Candelario. He is survived by: his daughter Veronica Rivera of Holyoke; his parents, Carmelo Rivera Jr. of Holyoke and Jacqueline Saez of Holyoke; his sister Jessica Rivera of Holyoke; his significant other Alexis Chatel of Holyoke; and his grandparents, Carmelo Rivera Sr. of Puerto Rico, Lydia Rivera Diaz of Holyoke and Miriam Candelario of Springfield. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
