He is survived by: his daughters, Malissa Y. Aponte and Yesenia Aponte; his grandchildren, Taisha L. Aponte and Jeffrey L. Aponte, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Josiah Brown, Isabella and Aria Aponte; his stepchildren, Zoraida Nieves, Hector L. Santos, Christian and Jose Ruiz; and his siblings, Felix, Nilda Torres, Sonia, Lucy and Milagros Aponte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
