We bid farewell to Robert Alan Nemet of Holliston, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 2, 2024 at the age of 76. Robert Alan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Nemet and Doris Nemet (Pike); his siblings, Ronald, Richard and Charlene Nemet; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Dorothy Demeritt; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Demeritt and Joe Demeritt.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Nemet (Demeritt); his children, Deborah Dorman (late Rick Dorman) of Milford, Robert Nemet (Jaime) of Holliston and Brian Nemet (Melissa) of Sturbridge; his grandchildren, Dylan, Devon, Westley and Jackie; his siblings, Christine Nemet of Duxbury, Cheryl Poor of Northborough and Russell Nemet of Brooksville, FL.; and his in-laws, Lana Demeritt, Ellen, John McGinnis, Linda, Andy Loranger, Barbara and Ted Ball. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home (325 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home (325 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721).
