He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Strange Stackpole and Earl Smith Stackpole; and his sister Nancy Stackpole MacInnis. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Woodworth Stackpole; his children, Lori Anne Whynot (Neil) of Waltham, MA, Daniel Earl Whynot of Worcester, MA and Jeffrey Earl Stackpole (Alicia) of Medway, MA.; his brother Howard Stackpole; his sibling-in-law Shirley Connolly of Norton, MA; his brother Leonard Stackpole (Karen) of Holliston; his grandchildren, Hailey Perry (Ryan) of Norton, Alivia Jean Stackpole of Medway and Logan William Stackpole of Medway; his nieces and nephews, Cheryl MacInnis Jackins (Andy), Darlene MacInnis Sweet, Catherine Stackpole, Wayne Stackpole (Danielle) of Sudbury and Johnny Stackpole of Billerica; his great-nieces, Natalie Cullen and Gabrielle Dante of Florida; his great-nephew Grant Cullen; and also Everett of Florida.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chesmore Funeral Home (854 Washington St, Holliston, MA 01746). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Visiting Nurse Care Network – Fund Development (VNA) Milford Hospice.
