She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mildred Norpell and Martin Norpell; her children, Cathleen Stenquist (Scott), Michael Monson (Marina), Sandra Monson, Diane Mingace and Steven Monson (Tanya); her brothers, Martin Norpell and Thomas Norpell (Marianne); and her husband Craig Arthur Monson. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and was looking.

She started her own "Divine Mercy Shoppe" in her South Carolina parish selling holy medals, rosaries etc. to raise thousands of dollars for charity.
