She was predeceased by: her daughter Sophia. She is survived by: her parents, Maria Raquel (Cerveira) and Claudinor Salomao; her husband Douglas Schmidt of Holliston; her children, Mialotta, Olivia, Isabella and Christopher; and her siblings, Joao, Pedro, Claud, Julia, Jeffrey and Mark. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
