He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Dorman (Winkler) and Kenneth L. Dorman. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Raftery of Holliston; his daughter Kelly Jones; and his siblings, Frank Dorman and Ginnie Albraccio (Sal).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coast Guard Museum of Cape Cod of 3353 (Route 6A) Barnstable, MA 02630.
