It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra L. (Norquist) Benoit of Holden, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Norquist and Alice Norquist (Bean); and her sisters, Joanne Bettez and Deborah Racca. She is survived by: her husband James A. Benoit; her sons, James M. Benoit of Sterling, Peter J. Benoit (Michelle Boyce) of Princeton and Matthew P. Benoit (Christa) of Holden; her sister Karen Nurmi of Brookfield; her grandchildren, Sierra, Katie, Jordan, Audrey, Elliot, Teddy, Tessa, Kaylee and Mason; and her great grandchild Ryleigh Mae. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Out of love and concern for Sandy's family, proper social distancing and wearing of a mask will be required for attendance. A funeral service honoring her life will be held privately Tuesday at the funeral home.
