He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Goodney and Amelia M. Goodney (McGuire); his siblings, Dorlis and John R. Goodney; his grandson Shawn R. McDavitt; and his great grandchild Luke W. McDavitt.
He is survived by: his wife Madeleine Goodney (McGinn); his daughters, Patricia M. (Stephen J. Murphy) of Sturbridge and Cynthia A. (Thomas J. McDavitt); his grandchildren, Brendan, Aaron, Kerrilyn, Patrick, Bryan, Erynn, Connor and Kailee; his great grandchildren, Shawn, John, Charlie, Millie, Lily and Declan; and his brother Theodore R. Goodney of Florida.
