He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford W. Fife and Dorothy A. Fife (Briggs); and his siblings, Clifford Fife, Jr. and Annette Fife. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Fife (Morrill); his daughters, Lisa L. Lange of Rutland and Linda L. Erickson (Tom) of Paxton; his sister Viola T. Wardell (Andrew) of Worcester; and his grandchildren, Meghann, Casey, Tim, Emily, Scott, Nick, Jake, Australian and Murphy.
