He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis J. Pentland and Marium J. Pentland (Pickard); his wife Jean (Tibbets); his children, David Pentland (Susan) of Princeton, Julia Conte (Jay) of Paxton and Nancy DeGrace (Robert) of Lunenburg; and his grandchildren, Jon, Zach, Laurel, Peter (Jackie), Steven, Emma and Jake. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
