He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Soderberg (Christenson); his daughter Amy Soderberg; his granddaughter Jenna Soderberg; and his parents, Theodore Soderberg and Esther Soderberg (Norman).
He is survived by: his sons, Jon Soderberg and Peter Soderberg of Easthampton, MA; his grandsons, Samuel Soderberg of Hamden, MA and Christopher Soderberg of Springfield, MA; his children, Kirsten Blair (Brice) of North Carolina and Katarina Mayo (Dalton) of Virginia; his great grandchild Lucas Blair; and his sister-in-law June Caldbeck-Crone (Charles Crone) of Sterling. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman's memory may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League.
