It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary F. Slocum of Holden, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Kelly (Mungovan) and Patrick Kelly; her husband George W. Slocum; and her siblings, Ann O'Loughlin, Thomas Kelly and John Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Slocum (Marshal Root) of Westport, CT, David Slocum of Framingham, MA and Jeffrey Slocum (Susan) of East Lyme, CT; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Root of Brookline, MA and Megan Root of Cambridge.
