He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. Lionel, Sr. Hebert and Agnes Hebert (Fletcher); his wife Mary Hebert (Stetson); his children, Benjamin Hebert (Alyssa) of Holden, Katharine England (Paul) of Dedham, ME and Molly Vye (Gerry) of Andover; his grandchildren, Madilyn, Jocelyn, Alice, Eleanor, Paul, Evelyn and Adeline; and his siblings, Thomas Hebert (Eleanor) of Southbridge, James, George Hebert and Alice Cove. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
