He was predeceased by: his daughter Doris Szaban; and his siblings, Lillian Norton, Sara Babbit, Leon Hastings, Jr. and Donald Hastings.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hastings (Tatro); his great grandchildren, Lindsay, Zachary, Nathan, Allison, Erin, Megan, Kiley and Eileen; and his parents, Leon Sr. and Gertrude Hastings, Sr. (Frazer). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
