With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl Smith (Holden, Massachusetts), born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 2, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ken Smith and Deborah Smith; his wife Laurie Smith (Borggaard); his daughter Mandee Blair (Justin) of Chatham, MA; his granddaughters, Sadie, Tessa Blair and Ainsley Poulin; his stepson Spencer McAvey (Abby) of Rutland, MA; his siblings, Ken Smith of Danvers, MA and Deb Smith of Chelmsford, MA; and his uncle Ken Carlson (Nancy) of Danbury, CT. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Karl's memory to Abby's House, ATTN: Accounting, 52 High Street, Worcester, MA 01609, which was a cause close to his heart and the heart of his mother.
