He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Lewis and Agnes Lewis (Kaplan); and his wife Barbara Lewis (Dean). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer E. Gruber (Eric) of North Attleboro, Jessica A. Schneider (John) of Sturbridge and Michael D. Lewis (Lilias) of Shrewsbury; his sisters, Diane Pohorylo (Chet) of Windsor Locks, CT and Monica Tofil (Andy) of Surprise, AZ; and his grandchildren, Jake, Kyle Gruber, Jack, Katie Schneider, Evan and Colin Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a cause that John supported for many years - kidney disease - the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., NY, NY 10016.
