He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dorsey and Hattie Lee Dorsey; and his siblings, George Edward Dorsey, Jr., John T. Dorsey, Sr. (Jake), LeRoy Dorsey, Waymon Dorsey, Harrison Dorsey, Robert Dorsey, Learthan Dorsey, Ethel Williams, Louella Roberts and Betty Ann Dorsey.
He is survived by: his sister Hattie Lee Robinson-Dorsey; his son Jeffrey Charles Dorsey (Kiki); his wife Peggy; and his brothers, Earl Westerling (Mary), Dr. Bernard Westerling (Elaine) and John Westerling (Luanne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
