He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth (McGuiggan) and Harvey Hartleb, Sr.; his wife Marcia (Ostergard); his children, Heather Dubrule (Steve) of Holden, Meredith Hartleb of West Boylston and Ross Hartleb of Culver City, California.; his grandchildren, Samuel, Charles, Elise Dubrule and Thompsen Hartleb; and his brother Dr. John Hartleb.
