She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David C. Bates and Winifred F. Bates (Stockhaus); her children, Michelle Hicks (Nicholas Trahadias) of Worcester, Kimberley Hicks of Shrewsbury and Christopher Hicks (Elizabeth) of Dunnellon, FL; and her siblings, Paul Bates of Haskell, NJ, Patricia Girouard of Paxton and David Bates. She was also cherished by five nephews and one niece.
