She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick A. Niemi and Anna L Niemi (Katajamaki); her husband Robert H. Palenius; her son Ronald D. Palenius; her brother Russell F. Niemi; her daughters, Ann L. Douglas (Lawrence) of Hampton, NH and Jean E. Fifty (Jim) of Manchester, NH; and her daughter-in-law Cathleen Palenius of South Yarmouth, MA..
She is survived by: her grandsons, Christopher, David, Joshua Fifty, Larry and Matthew Douglas. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mooreland Cemetery (261 Richards Ave, Paxton, MA 01612).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army, 640 Main Street.
