He is survived by: his mother Bette Lapoint (Myra); his friend David McClusky of Rutland; his son Benjamin Lapoint; his sisters, Diane Bertholdt (Ricki Bauman) of Tampa, FL, Donna Farrell (Michael) of Hubbardston and Christine Mascetelli (Edward) of East Brookfield; his nieces, Julie, Amelia, Victoria, Melody Farrell, Abigail, Chloe and Mia Mascitelli; his nephew Daniel Bertholdt; and his pet Marley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David's name to the Sterling Animal Shelter, 17 Laurelwood Road, Sterling.
